Product Introduction

On-Board Shore-Power Receiving Equipment

Compliant with IEC 80005-1 / IEC 80005-2. Available for DNV‑GL, BV, ABS, LR, CCS class approval. Suitable for new‑building vessels and retrofitting existing ships, helping vessels meet EU‑ETS, EEXI‑CII emission requirements during berthing.

Product Portfolio

Complete on-board shore-power receiving solution consists of three core product lines:

  1. Ship-side Shore Connection Box (LV & HV)
  2. On-board Shore-Power Control Cabinet & HV Access Cabinet
  3. Ship-mounted Cable Management System (On-board CMS / Cable Reel)

1. Ship‑side Shore Connection Box

Serves as physical power-interface between vessel and shoreside power supply. - Rated voltage: 440V LV / 6.6kV-12kV HV, compatible with 50 Hz / 60 Hz dual-frequency - Power capacity: 200 kVA ~ 2 MVA, customisable - Enclosure: 316L stainless-steel, marine anti-corrosion, IP44-IP66 - Installation: wall-mounted, vertical or horizontal options - Built-in functions: overload & short-circuit protection, phase-sequence detection, voltage-current metering, emergency-stop button, heating & anti-condensation dehumidification unit, electrical-mechanical safety interlock, fibre-optic communication interface - Interoperability: plugs & sockets fully interchangeable with other IEC-standard shore-power connectors - Operating environment: -25 ℃ ~ +60 ℃, relative humidity ≤95 %, altitude ≤1000 m

2. On-board Shore-Power Control Cabinet & HV Access Cabinet

Guarantees safe, bumpless transfer between shore-power and ship-board auxiliary power network. - Low-voltage control cabinet: 250A ~ 2000A; IP22. Equipped with voltmeter, ammeter, synchro-meter, insulation monitor, multi-function meter, emergency-stop and status indication. Realises automatic non-disturbing switch-over between shore supply and onboard generators. - High-voltage access cabinet: 6.6kV-12kV, composed of incoming cabinet and control cabinet. Integrated PLC & touch-screen HMI with comprehensive high-voltage protection logic. - Applicable for new-build outfitting and retrofit projects: container ships, bulk carriers, Ro-Ro / Ro-Pax, cruise vessels, tankers etc.

3. Ship-mounted Cable Management System (On-board CMS / Cable Reel)

Motorised reel unit for automatic storing and paying-out of shore-power cables on-board. - Two variants: Low-voltage reel and High-voltage reel - Max cable length: 100 m; cable quantity and cross-section can be adjusted per requirement - Drive: frequency-conversion constant-tension control; adjustable operating speed 0-10 m/min, real-time cable-tension monitoring - Mechanical design: stainless-steel reel drum, double-support double-bearing. Torque-limit protection, fault alarm and interlock-signal output. - Protection grade: IP 56, adapted for harsh marine atmospheric environment.

Key Advantages

  1. Regulatory compliance: Fully complies with IEC 80005-1/-2 standards. Complete documentation package for classification-society survey & approval. Helps vessels satisfy port emission rules including EU Directive 2014/94/EU.
  2. Retrofit‑oriented modular design: Compact modules work both for new-building outfitting and dry-dock retrofitting of in-service vessels for EEXI / CII upgrade.
  3. Multi-layer safety mechanism: Electrical-mechanical interlock, emergency-stop, anti-condensation, fault alarm and real-time status monitoring prevent mis-operation and marine electrical risks.
  4. Global port adaptability: Supports mixed 50 Hz / 60 Hz shore-power connection for worldwide port calls.
  5. Flexible customisation: Voltage level, power rating, cabinet layout and reel parameters can be tailored to vessel general-arrangement and actual power-load profile.

Typical Vessel Applications

Container ships, bulk carriers, oil / chemical tankers, Ro-Ro & Ro-Pax ferries, cruise ships, offshore working platforms and special-purpose vessels.
