Product Introduction
Marine Seawater Desalination System Brief Introduction1 Product Overview
We are a state-owned high-tech marine environmental equipment enterprise equipped with national-level marine corrosion & fluid laboratories and independent core patents.
Two core desalination technologies are available: RO reverse osmosis and MED multi-effect distillation, covering yachts, merchant ships, offshore platforms, floating resorts, islands and nuclear supporting projects.
All products comply with IMO conventions, WHO & GB5749 drinking standards, and hold full type approvals from CCS, DNV GL, LR, ABS, NK, BV, with after-sales services covering over 30 countries worldwide.2 Two Core Technical Lines
2.1 RO Reverse Osmosis Desalination Skid
Working Principle
Multi-stage pre-treatment purifies raw seawater. With patented energy recovery turbines, pressurized seawater passes high-efficiency RO membranes to separate salt, heavy metals and microbes for drinkable fresh water.Capacity Range
5–5000 m³/day modular skids:
- 5–60 m³/d: Yachts, sightseeing boats, floating beach clubs
- 10–200 m³/d: Container/bulk/oil/passenger ships
- 50–300 m³/d: Offshore wind & floating platforms
- 500–5000 m³/d: Islands, nuclear power plants
Key Advantages
- Low power consumption (2.8–3.5 kWh/ton water) thanks to self-developed energy recovery device, saving long-term operation cost;
- Titanium & 316L stainless steel structure for anti-corrosion against high-salinity seawater & ship vibration;
- Full-automatic PLC control, optional remote IoT monitoring, auto backwash & fault alarm;
- Compact KD modular design, easy hoisting, installation and maintenance in narrow engine rooms;
- Complete international classification certificates for global ship tender.
2.2 MED Multi-Effect Distillation Fresh Water Generator
Working Principle
Recycle vessel main engine waste heat to evaporate seawater under low vacuum. Vapor is separated and condensed into fresh water without high-pressure pumps.Capacity & Application
10–150 m³/day, specially designed for long-distance bulk, container, LNG and large passenger ships with stable waste heat supply.Unique Strengths
- Nearly zero extra power load to cut fuel cost;
- Strong adaptability to turbid seawater, less pre-treatment maintenance;
- Few consumable parts, long service life and low annual cost.
4 Core Competitiveness
- Strong independent R&D: National professional labs, nearly 100 invention patents, participant of marine environmental standard drafting & IMO technical consultant;
- Rich high-end project cases: Ocean vessels, polar research ships, naval crafts, offshore platforms, nuclear & island water supply projects with leading market share;
5 Application Scenarios
- Ocean merchant ships: Container, bulk, oil, LNG and cruise vessels
- Offshore facilities: Wind platforms, floating leisure barges & beach clubs
- Luxury yachts & inland sightseeing catamarans
- Research & official patrol ships
- Land projects: Coastal islands, nuclear power and municipal water plants
