Off-Shore Wind Turbine Installation Vessel & Service Solution

Product & Service Overview

This solution integrates self-elevating jack-up wind turbine installation vessel manufacturing capability and professional offshore wind installation service segment, delivering end-to-end solutions for large-scale offshore wind farm projects.

The portfolio covers new-build jack-up installation vessels, heavy-lift floating cranes, SOV service-operation vessels, core marine equipment including leg-encircling cranes, rack-and-pinion jacking systems and DP-2 dynamic-positioning systems. Besides vessel new-build & equipment supply, the dedicated offshore wind installation service segment provides marine construction services: turbine installation, monopile / jacket foundation installation, offshore substation & converter-station hoisting, offshore transportation, site project management and on-site technical supervision for wind-farm developments.

Key Technical Capabilities

  1. Jack-up WTIV Platform ‑ Maximum operating water depth up to 70 m, long truss-type legs for complex seabed conditions - Main crane capacity range: 1,200 t ~ 3,500 t, compatible with 16-25 MW next-generation large-size wind turbines - Large variable-deck-load design, capable of transporting multiple complete turbine sets in single voyage - In-house developed rack-pinion jacking system; DP-2 dynamic-positioning system fully validated for real-ship operation
  2. Heavy-lift & Support Vessels ‑ Large floating crane units for offshore substation, jacket and heavy foundation hoisting assignments ‑ Service‑operation‑vessel (SOV) solution with active motion‑compensated gangway for long‑term offshore maintenance campaigns
  3. Installation Service Segment Scope - Full-scope marine installation for wind turbine generators, monopile / jacket foundations - Lifting & installation of offshore substations and offshore converter stations - Offshore marine transportation, on-site construction supervision, project coordination & HSE management - Flexible cooperation modes: time-charter of installation assets, lump-sum marine installation subcontract, partial construction service

Qualification & Compliance

- Class society approvals: CCS, DNV-GL, LR, ABS for vessel construction & marine operations - Compliance with IMO-Tier-III emission requirements, offshore wind industry specifications - Complete in-house workshop for crane, jacking-system fabrication; full-scale NDT, material test and witness-FAT support - Mature HSE & marine safety management system for offshore construction activities

Application Boundaries

✅ Suitable for: Near-shore & far-sea offshore wind farms; installation of large-MW turbines, monopile / jacket foundations; offshore substation / converter-station erection; long-term O&M support.

⚠️ Limitations: - DP-3 dynamic-positioning capability not available in-house and shall rely on third-party system supply - Jack-up platforms are subject to seabed soil condition assessment before spud-can penetration operations

Core Combined Advantages

  1. Dual-mode offering: Equipment supply + Installation service Clients can select standalone new-build vessel / core-equipment procurement; or engage our offshore wind installation service segment for full marine construction execution. One‑stop coordination reduces interface risk for project owners and EPC contractors.
  2. Self-developed critical marine equipment Main crane, rack‑pinion jacking system and DP‑2 positioning system are internally engineered & manufactured. Better control over delivery timeline, quality and after‑sales support, compared with solutions sourcing key components externally.
  3. Flexible project adaptability Capable for large serial new-build orders, as well as customized vessel designs for special project requirements. The installation service team is experienced for both mass-volume wind-farm campaigns and small-scale special-scope assignments.
  4. Marine project risk control Established offshore‑construction HSE workflow; class‑society survey witness supported for both vessel‑build and offshore installation activities. Full documentation traceability for manufacturing and marine operation records.
