Product Introduction
Marine SCR system Key Components
Product Introduction
Our marine SCR stand-alone key components are certified spare & retrofit hardware for marine selective catalytic reduction systems, complying with IMO Tier-III, MARPOL Annex VI, and approved by multiple classification societies including DNV, ABS, CCS, BV, LR, KR, NK, RINA, RS.
These individual parts support spare-part replacement, partial SCR retrofitting, and local system integration work for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine diesel / dual-fuel engines. Instead of replacing the entire SCR system, ship-owners can renew faulty modules separately to cut overhaul cost and shorten vessel downtime. All components are engineered to withstand harsh marine conditions: heavy vibration, salt-mist corrosion, rolling & pitching at sea.
Component Breakdown
-
SCR Reactor The core catalytic reaction chamber. Equipped with catalyst modules, flow diffuser, temperature and pressure sensors. Handles NOₓ reduction reaction to meet Tier‑III emission limits. Multiple sizes for different exhaust gas flow rates; compact footprint designed for space‑limited engine rooms.
-
Injection & Mixing Unit Critical front-end component. Atomizes urea-water solution and achieves uniform mixing with hot exhaust gas. Effectively reduces ammonia-slip risk. Various flange diameters available to match customer existing exhaust duct dimensions.
-
Urea Pump Unit Skid-mounted pressurization unit for urea-aqueous solution. Includes strainers, pressure sensors, check valves and alarm logic. Provides stable delivery pressure for reductant supply loop, supporting automatic linkage with main SCR control system.
-
Reductant Dosing Unit Precisely controls urea injection volume based on real‑time engine load, exhaust flow and NOₓ readings. Adopts RS485 bus communication for system interconnection. Built‑in flow‑pressure monitoring and fault alarm function with small installation footprint.
-
NOₓ Measuring Unit Installed at SCR reactor inlet and outlet. Measures NO / NO₂ concentration and sends feedback signal for closed-loop urea-dosing control. Marine-grade anti-vibration and salt-fog design; modular probe for easy on-board maintenance & replacement.
Core Benefits for Ship-owners
- ✅ Cost saving: Replace only failed modules, no need to procure full SCR system
- ✅ Short downtime: Spare-part-oriented supply helps minimize ship-repair dock time
- ✅ Full class certificates: Classification approval documents supplied for PSC / flag-state inspection
- ✅ Marine-optimized hardware: Resists vibration, humidity and salt mist onboard
- ✅ Flexible application: Fit for spare renewal, partial retrofitting and third‑party system integration
- ✅ Standard sea freight: Most components fit in standard shipping containers, no over-size surcharge
