Product Introduction
Marine Gyro Anti-Roll Stabilizer
1. Product Overview
This series of marine gyro stabilizers adopts high-speed vacuum flywheel gyroscopic principle to generate reverse counter torque and suppress hull rolling. Different from traditional fin stabilizers that only work under sailing speed, this equipment delivers outstanding anti-rolling performance both underway and at zero speed (anchoring / mooring).
The unit features a fully sealed vacuum integrated structure without external protruding fins. No hull cutting, welding or exterior modification is required, making it perfectly suitable for new ship construction and old vessel retrofits. Equipped with self-adaptive PLC intelligent control system and closed seawater cooling module, the full model lineup covers small yachts, fishing boats, patrol crafts up to 5,000-ton offshore working vessels. Multiple open-sea real tests verify its roll reduction efficiency reaches 70%~95%. The complete product series holds full classification society certifications and has mass delivery records to Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea and other global marine markets.
2. Working Principle
A heavy flywheel rotates at ultra-high speed inside a vacuum housing to form huge angular momentum. When waves cause the hull to roll side to side, the flywheel generates powerful precession counter torque to offset wave-induced rolling force and drastically cut swing amplitude.
A high-precision built-in MEMS roll sensor collects real-time hull roll data. The adaptive controller automatically adjusts flywheel speed and damping torque according to real sea conditions to achieve optimal anti-rolling effect without manual adjustment.
3. Core Competitive Advantages
- Unique Zero-Speed Anti-Roll Function Traditional fin stabilizers stop working when anchoring or low-speed drifting. This gyro stabilizer maintains powerful anti-rolling capacity at zero speed, greatly improving comfort for yachts, fishing boats and patrol vessels that stay stationary on water for long durations.
- Cabin-Inside Installation, No Hull Alteration All assemblies are installed inside the hold without external hull fins. Dry docking is unnecessary for refitting projects, which greatly shortens construction cycles and renovation costs. Compact overall size saves limited cabin space.
- Vacuum Sealed Low-Noise Flywheel Design High-vacuum cavity reduces air friction loss; operating noise is controlled within 72dB at 1m distance. Core bearing components feature ultra-long service life and lower daily maintenance demand.
- Intelligent Touchscreen Adaptive Control Wheelhouse-mounted touch control panel displays real-time roll angle, operating parameters and fault codes, supporting automatic running, one-key start-stop and full-process operation data storage.
- Parallel Combination Expandable Single unit for small lightweight crafts; multiple stabilizers can be synchronously linked to output larger total anti-rolling torque for medium & large displacement vessels.
- Cost-Effective Import Substitute Equivalent performance to top overseas gyro stabilizers with only 50%~60% of the procurement cost. Full sets of English installation drawings, sea trial reports and certification documents are provided for export customs clearance and port inspection.
- Wide Marine Environmental Compatibility Stable operation range from -20℃ to +60℃; anti-salt fog anti-corrosion coating adapts to harsh coastal & offshore marine environments.
